Leadership and program staff participate in the Network's innovative Professional Learning Community, including peer learning events throughout the year. Specifically, staff attend three "Communities of Practice Groups" that each meet three times per year (at the Network meeting and one additional meeting). These specialized learning groups provide opportunities for staff who perform similar functions in Educare schools across the Network (e.g., Master Teachers, Family Support Supervisors, and Educare Site Leadership staff) to focus on strategies for implementing best practices and overcoming challenges in their day-to-day work with young children and families. Additional opportunities for cross-Network exchange among Educare staff include periodic Web-based trainings and the Network's intranet site.
