The Educare Learning Network team provides individualized consultation and implementation assistance to Network members through monthly conference calls and an average of three in-person site visits by our team to each school during the coming year. The ELN's support reflects priorities outlined in each site's annual site plan which is jointly developed by the ELN Team and site leadership. Specifically, these calls and site visits:
- Support Educare leadership staff in acquiring and demonstrating specific job skills, practices and core management systems to support full implementation of the Educare model over time;
- Provide individualized coaching and consultation to assist leadership staff in connecting the knowledge gained from training and learning events (described below) to practice in daily interactions with young children and families; and
- Respond to each Educare's needs and concerns; build on existing strengths and capacity; and problem-solve and set strategies for addressing emerging challenges in Educare implementation.
