All children deserve a chance to reach their full potential, and early education can help. Research shows kids who are exposed to imaginative play, socialization and learning from the early years have a greater shot at success in school and life.

It is our vision that all children will have access to the highest quality early care and education, so they can have the best possible start in school and in life. The United Way Center for Excellence in Early Education is an innovative learning, teaching and training initiative dedicated to elevating the quality of early care and education in Miami-Dade and beyond.

Educare partners with the local school district to provide 4-5K year charter school programming, allowing children to continue to K5 within the same Charter School.

Partners: Created and funded by United Way of Miami-Dade in partnership with local and national educational institutions, government, foundations, corporations, organizations and individuals.

  • Serves 120 children (infants and toddlers through ages 3-4) and their families
  • Opened 2007
  • Joined Educare Network in 2008
