Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel announced plans to improve the quality of the city's early childhood education programs today at Educare of Chicago.
Emanuel also visited three classrooms to see our high-quality early childhood school in action. He talked to teachers, parents and children. "Educare is the gold standard," Emanuel said.
"While other states have cut back, the city of Chicago is doubling down on our children," Emanuel said. "That's the responsibility we have as adults."
