Educare schools celebrate the power of connections

Following the theme of “Connected, Caring, Committed,” this year’s Educare Learning Network Meeting will focus on the importance of connections and building strong relationships—between Educare schools and among school staff, families and children. The event will bring together representatives from all 21 Educare schools in Washington, DC, April 4-6.

This year’s event will be hosted by our partners at Educare Washington, DC. The annual meeting is an opportunity to collaborate on early learning strategies and discuss how Educare can help create positive change in the early education field to benefit young children and families across the country.

As family engagement is an integral part of all Educare schools, Educare parents will participate in the Network Meeting. They will share their perspectives during sessions about the strong parent-to-child, parent-to-staff and parent-to-parent connections being built across the Network.

The meeting will include a tour of Educare Washington, DC, which serves 166 children from birth to age five and their families. The school also strives to spark improvements in early childhood programs throughout the District by spreading evidence-based practices and creating new champions for early learning.
