Educare Schools Operating Status and Community Resources

All Educare schools have reopened after being closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.  In accordance with CDC recommendations, schools are implementing new operating procedures and protocols to ensure the safety of all children, families and staff.

Decisions to close Educare schools in March due to the COVID-19 pandemic were made at the school level in partnership with local school districts, community partners and government agencies in accordance with CDC recommendations. While necessary, the decision to close schools was not easy as our schools play a big role within their communities not only in providing high-quality early childhood education, but also for their ability to provide meals and child care for working families. School staff are still on hand to support our families in this difficult time.

For the most up to date information on COVID-19, please consult the CDC website and the National Governor’s Association website, and Child Care Aware of America website for state by state resources.
