Continuous Quality Improvement: Learning from Successful Programs
April 8, 4-5pm
The new Head Start Performance Standards require programs to collect data and develop systems for continuous quality improvement. A panel of early educators will discuss how they use a systematic approach to collecting data and measuring performance to implement continuous quality improvement. Jessica Haremza of Project Eagle and Educare Kansas City will share lessons from the Educare approach.
Designing Data Driven Professional Development that Creates Change
April 9, 11am-12pm
This session will introduce techniques for embedding professional development topics into a program’s day-to-day work. Participants will have an opportunity to reflect on their program’s current professional development plan and will learn ways to use program data to determine the best way to use the program’s training time throughout the year. Jessica Haremza and Kelli Roehr of Project Eagle and Educare Kansas City will facilitate the session.
