We’ll explore how the master teacher leads education staff toward full and effective implementation of the Educare Model Framework and evidence-based instructional practices.

This webinar explores the purpose and function of the master teacher in the Educare model, highlighting role-specific competencies. We’ll explore how the master teacher leads education staff toward full and effective implementation of Educare’s core features and evidence-based instructional practices. This overview is grounded in the professional competency areas that guide the work of master teachers: the design, delivery and coordination of professional development; education program development; facilitation of interdisciplinary collaboration and administrative support. We’ll explore how these competency areas result in successful outcomes of the master teacher’s work including exemplary early learning classroom quality, teacher-child interactions, family partnerships and the development and retention of highly qualified staff.

After completing this webinar, participants will be able to:
- Understand the role of the master teacher in the Educare model
- Understand the four domains of work for the master teacher: professional development, education program development, interdisciplinary work and administrative support
