Silicon Valley director wins Harvard scholarship

Lisa Kaufman, executive director of Educare California at Silicon Valley, was awarded a 2017 Impact Scholarship sponsored by the Harvard Business School Association of Northern California Community Partners.
The scholarship will allow Kaufman to attend the Strategic Perspectives in Nonprofit Management Program at the Harvard Business School this July.
“I’m thankful for everyone who shared the contest and voted so I can attend this prestigious summer program on a full scholarship,” Kaufman says. “The program will benefit the school by providing us the opportunity to learn from world-class experts and experienced peers about change management and organizational operations, and bring those learnings back to Educare to better serve our community.”
Kaufman was nominated by an Educare donor and Harvard Business School alum. Members of the Harvard Business School Association of Northern California voted for their favorite four nonprofits to win this leadership training scholarship.
