Washington governor visits Educare Seattle

Governor Jay Inslee had the opportunity to see high-quality early learning in action on January 15 when he and First Lady Trudi Inslee joined local early learning leaders to tour Educare Seattle.
In addition to visiting classrooms, the governor also heard first-hand from current parents about their experiences at Educare and how their families and children have benefitted from quality early learning.
The visit also fueled a discussion amongst the group about the state of Washington’s early learning system, the need for additional support for young children and families, and the importance of early learning funding.
